We have a large outdoor space which is split into three areas…
We have an all-weather play area which has large canopies allowing us to be outdoors as much as the children wish which is filled with natural resources and loose parts play.
This allows the children to be creative and not limited in their learning.
We have a large grassed area which has lots muddy puddles for children to splash in…
A large sandpit which the children love climbing into and exploring, a big evergreen tree which provides shade in the summer as well as opportunities to climb and lots of play equipment including slides, mud kitchens and trikes.
We also have an allotment where we grow our own foods such as lettuces, cabbages, onions, potatoes, tomatoes and radishes. The children love planting, watering and watching their crops grow and then cultivating them and giving them to our chef to use in her delicious meals.
