Daisychain Childcare is a nursery and preschool located on Monkton Avenue in Weston-super-Mare.
Founded in 2010 we moved our provision to this purpose built nursery in September 2019. The nursery is a happy and secure place where children learn and grow safely at their own pace.

When we learn, we grow!
We believe it is important for all children to be safe, happy and healthy and as such the directors of Daisychain Childcare have completed a refurbishment of the purpose-built setting. This focuses on the importance of children’s needs and well-being which includes a dedicated sleep room, an all weather play area and an allotment where we grow lots of fruit and vegetables for the children to enjoy.
No two days are the same at Daisychain, we offer lots of fun, interesting activities which are thought provoking and challenging based on the children’s interests. We understand that children learn in different ways and with our knowledge of different teaching techniques and using principles such as Portage and Makaton we are best placed to help every child in our care.
As well as providing thought provoking activities, the children have lots of opportunities to play freely with their friends whilst being guided and supervised by dedicated, knowledgeable staff.
Our setting is open 51 weeks of the year from 8am to 6pm, and we close for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday and statutory Bank Holidays. If parents need additional, last minute childcare and if we have space, we are happy to book an extra sessions
Sessions run daily as follows:
Full days:
8am to 6pm. Includes morning snack, two-course hot lunch and afternoon tea
Short days:
8am – 4pm or 9am – 5pm. includes morning snack and two-course hot lunch
Morning session:
8am to 1pm. Includes morning snack and two-course hot lunch.
Afternoon session:
1pm to 6pm. Includes afternoon tea.
